  Russell R. Barner LOGANTON - Russell R. Barner, 96, of Loganton, died Tuesday, June 12 , 2001 in Lock Haven Hospital Extended Care Unit. He was born in Loganton on Aug. 27, 1904, a son of the late Grant U. a d Sadie Fiddler Barner. He and Ruth Karstetter were married on Sept . 16, 1945 in Buffalo, N.Y. His wife preceded him in death. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2001, at Sugar Valley C hurch of the Brethren-Eastville. The Rev. Kenneth Geisewite will offic iate. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery. Frie ds may call at the church from noon until the time of funeral Friday . Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 95 E.
