Lloyd K. Long, 76, 18 Merreyvale Lane. Beech Creek, PA died Jan. 2, 20
16 in the Emergency Room of
the Lock Haven Hospital. Born Dec. 31, 1939 in Lock Haven, PA he was t
he son of the late Floyd E. and Leona B. Peter. In 1959 he married Syl
via J. Barner who died Dec. 25, 1974.
Lloyd was retired construction worker who had worked for Stone Valle
y Construction, Hawbaker Construction and McCormick Construction. He s
erved in the PA Army National Guard and was a member of American Legio
Post 623, Beech Creek, Fisher Hill Hunting Camp, a social member o
f the Castanea Fire Co. and the Sons of Italy. Lloyd was a former memb
er of the Bald Eagle Rifle League and Local 824 International Brotherh
ood of Laborers and a 1957 graduate of the Lock Haven High School.
He is survived by:

2 Sisters: Nancy (Earl) Young, Beech Creek, PA
Bonnie (Joseph) Bortot, Blanchard, PA
2 Brothers: William (Kathryn) Long and Dennis Long both of Blanchard
, PA
5 Grandchildren: Taylor, Ryan, Jordan, Michael and Caleb Long
