Stephen H. Kinley, 95, of 16 Mockingbird Lane, Mill Hall, passed awa
y at his home Wednesday, May 22, 2013.
He was born in Lock Haven on Sept. 21, 1917, the son of the late Steph
en and Eliza Miller Kinley.
In 1942, he married the former Edith Geraldine Barner, who preceded hi
m in death in 2008.
He worked at the Lock Haven Silk Mill, Lock Haven Armature Plant and H
ammermill Paper Co. before working for Piper Aircraft, where he retire
d from in 1979 after 29 years of service.
He enjoyed shooting rifle and bow and was an avid hunter and fisherman
. He loved to sing and enjoyed socializing and talking with people.
He is survived by a son, Stephen E. (Gloria J.) Kinley of Mill Hall; t
hree daughters, Rebecca (James) Tomaini, Carol (Arthur) Dapp and Bett
y (Larry) Sonnie, all of Mill Hall; 16 grandchildren, 34 great-grandch
ildren and six great-great- grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by fiv
e brothers and three sisters.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Ame
ican Heart Association.
