  S. LeRoy Barner on tombstone Lock Haven Express 5/28/2003 Sherman L. "Pete" Barner Sherman L. "Pete" Barner, 90, died Tuesday, May 27, 2003, at Susque-V iew Home in Lock Haven. He was born June 7, 1912 in Lamar Twp, Clinton Co, PA, Clinton Co, a s on of the late Clarence and Matilda Karchner Barner. He was a self-employed carpenter. Surviving is a sister, Margaret Litz of Lock Haven. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Mae Gunsallus Barner; a d aughter, Shirley Barner; and four brothers and two sisters. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2003, in the Donald G. W alker Funeral Home Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, with the Rev. Viol a Tyson officiating. Burial will be in Hublersburg Cemetery, @047. Fri ends may call at the funeral home from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 2 t o 3 p.m. Friday.
