MAXINE BETTY (WELSHANS) CHARLES, 90, Jersey Shore, passed away March 27, 2020. Born June 22, 1929 in Jersey Shore, daughter of William and Vera Welshans. She married William T. Charles on Nov. 25, 1948. Maxine is survived by sisters Pauline
Reever, Helen (Don) Shemory, and Beverly (Russ) Rhinehart; children Darla Zimmerman, Thomas (Rebecca) Charles, and Dennis
(Leslie) Charles. Maxine was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Marguerite Powers and Esther Kephart; and brothers
Joseph Welshans, Robert Welshans, and William Welshans. Laid to rest in the Jersey Shore Cemetery.
