Born into a simple way of life, a beautiful, blue eyed, brown haired b
aby girl was born, Beth June to Audra and Albert Lewis Wirsching. Jun
e grew up in a small farming community of Twin Falls, ID. Times were h
ard and families enjoyed basic pleasures. June was the youngest with o
e sister, Janice. The girls spent long summer hours helping in the fa
mily garden filled with vegetables and flowers. June’s maternal Grandm
other Nellie Griggs, raised the girls through their teenage years. Jun
e was a good student although very shy. She loved to read, allowing he
self to disappear into the adventures of fictional characters for man
y hours at a time. June loved all things in nature, especially wild fl
owers of the mountains and meadows. She learned about the birds and wi
ldlife and chose to spend time in the mountains whenever she could.

June met Chuck upon his return from the Navy, they spent good times wi
th friends and married in January of 1950. Chuck was working in Fairfi
eld, Idaho where they settled into married life. Soon they had their f
irst child, David. June recalled the 50+ mile trip to the nearest hosp
ital when time came for the baby to be born. Chuck worked at several d
ifferent jobs over the next few years and they moved back to the Twi
Falls area, bringing 3 more children into their family, Terry, Dian
e and Tony. The family was complete and Chuck found his career at Amal
gamated Sugar Company. They bought their final home in Rupert, ID an
d established themselves there as the children grew.

While members of a local archery club, June became a state championshi
    p archer in 1964.

June and Chuck spent many happy summer weekends traveling and campin
g in the local mountain areas. They rode motorcycles and wandered th
e hillsides in search of wildlife. Chuck loved to explore new trails a
d drove his Jeep into locations not intended for vehicles. June woul
d insist the children get out of the Jeep while Dad maneuvered his wa
y through the tricky parts. The children grew up loving the mountain
s and the wonderful trips together.

When the youngest child started school, June went to work at Project M
utual Telephone Company. June made lasting friendships with the othe
    workers.

Her beloved Chuck passed away after 36 years of marriage. This lef
t a great void in June’s life. Resourceful and independent, June foun
d her way as a widow. After her retirement, she traveled to Germany an
d many locations in the US. She spent time in the summer camping and r
aising a wonderful vegetable garden plus a beautiful yard of many diff
erent flowers. She enjoyed reading, playing cards with friends, sewing
, quilting, and ceramics. Family was important to June and she treasur
ed time spent together at home or in the mountains.

June sold her home in Rupert in 2014 and moved to Meridian, ID to liv
e with her daughter and best friend, Diane. She spent many enjoyable h
ours in their lovely backyard and garden with her dog Brandy.

June passed on March 6, 2017, due to age related natural causes. She w
ill be missed greatly, and remembered always with loving affection.

June is survived by her son David and his wife Kathi Kriegh of San Jos
e, CA; son Terry and his wife Dawn Kriegh of Meridian, ID; daughter Di
ane Williamson of Meridian and son Anthony and his wife Patty Kriegh o
f Idaho Falls, ID; six grandchildren: Nick Berg and Shelley of Meridia
; Chiane Williams and her husband Jake of Idaho Falls; Lacey Kriegh o
f Idaho Falls; Kasey Ames and his wife Christiane of Meridian; Matthe
w Edginton and his wife Shannon of Nampa, and Kaytee Jacobson and he
