    Meade H. "Bill" Hahn II, 68, Millerstown

    - MILLERSTOWN - Meade H. “Bill” Hahn II, 68, of Millerstown entered in
    to rest on Thursday, May 24, 2012, at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center
    . He was the husband of Susan (Manning) Hahn for nearly 29 years.

    Bill was born Feb. 20, 1944, in Harrisburg, a son of the late M. Harol
    d and Dorothy W. (Lyter) Hahn.

    He was a graduate of Greenwood High School and an Army veteran of th
    e Vietnam War.

    Mr. Hahn retired from Thermotech, Inc., Harrisburg where he was a busi
    ess partner.

    Bill was president of the Shur-Shot Gun Club and a member of the boar
    d of directors for Potter Co. Hilton hunting camp. He was also a membe
    of the Millerstown VFW Post 5049, AMVETS, the Loyal Order of Moose
    , Lodge #925, Millerstown, the Liverpool American Legion, Post 364, Mi
    ddleburg Lodge No. 619, Free & Accepted Masons, the Zembo Shrine, Anci
    ent and Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of PA.

    Mr. Hahn was an involved in local dirt track racing for many years an
    d enjoyed hunting. He cherished times with his family and friends, an
    d enjoyed traveling. He volunteered time with his wife in the raisin
    g of puppies for Susquehanna Service Dogs.

    In addition to his beloved wife, Susan, he is survived by two children
    , a daughter and son-in-law, Billi and Gerald “Bub” Walton, of Millers
    town, and a son, Meade H. Hahn III, also of Millerstown; four grandchi
    ldren, Kiera, Alli and Kamryn Walton, and Arykah Hahn; also a brother
    , James Hahn and wife, Linda, of Shermans Dale; two sisters and brothe
    s-in-law, Carrie and Ronald Kerstetter, of Liverpool, and Cathy and J
    effrey Mathias, of Millerstown. His mother-in-law, Dorothy Manning, o
    f McAlisterville, also survives, along with nieces and nephews.

    There will be no viewing. Friends and family are invited to the visita
    tion from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at the George P. Garman Funeral Homes, I
    c., 606 N. Front Street, Liverpool, where the Masonic memorial will b
    egin at 11, followed by a service led by Pastor James McKibben. The Li
    verpool American Legion will end the service with Taps and a flag pres
    entation.

    In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in loving memory of Bil
    l to Susquehanna Service Dogs, 3700 Vartan Way, Harrisburg, PA. 17110.

    M. Harold "Pap" Hahn, 87, of Mt. Pleasant Mills RR 2 died Wednesday, O
    ct. 11, 2000 at the Millerstown RR 2 home of a daughter.
    He was born Jan. 27, 1913 in Harrisburg to the late Meade B. and Carri
    e E. (McDonald) Hahn.
    He was the former owner of Hahn's Bus Company; had done custom farm wo
    k; a member of Crossroads Mennonite Church, Richfield, and formerly a
    ttended Millmont Mennonite Church; and enjoyed farming, woodworking, g
    ardening, fishing and traveling.
    He was the widower of Dorothy W. Lyter Hahn, who died Sept. 14, 1989.
    Surviving are his wife of eight years, Betty J. Jones Hahn; two sons
    , M. Harold "Bill" of Millerstown RR 2 and James A. of Dillsburg; tw
    o stepsons, Ronald C. Jones of Mifflintown RR 2 and Robert A. Jones o
    f Hagerstown, Md.; two daughters, Carrie E. Kerstetter of Meeker, Colo
    ., and A. Catherine Mathias of Millerstown RR 2; two stepdaughters, Ba
    bara J. Weaver and Debra A. Stauffer, both of Mt. Pleasant Mills RR 2
    ; a brother, Richard E. of Millerstown RR 2; eight grandchildren; 22 s
    tepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandch
    ildren.
    He was preceded in death by two brothers, Elwood and Eugene, and a sis
    ter, Mary Elizabeth Reist.
    Services were held Oct. 14 in Garman Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant Mills
    , with the Revs. Orval Graybill and David Swartzentruber officiating.
    Memorial contributions may be made to SUN Home Hospice, 61 Duke St., N
    orthumberland 17857, or to his church, c/o Tim Lauver, Richfield 17086
    .
