    Lori Ann Metzger, 50, of Westminster, Md., died July 25, 2010 at Carro
    ll Hospice of Westminster, Md.

    She was born May 4, 1960 in Lock Haven, the daughter of Anite O. Metzg
    er and the late Charles K. Metzger of Windermere, Fla.

    She was the wife of Philip R. Boob Jr. for 28 years.

    She is survived by her son, Nathan Metzger and daughter, Caitlin Metzg
    er; her sisters and brother in-laws Annette Metzger- Saeger and husban
    d Jeremy of Atlanta, Ga., and Michelle Greene and husband Randall of W
    indermere, Fla.; her father in-law, Philip R. Boob Sr. and wife Ginn
    y Boob; sister in-law Pam Spong, and a nephew and niece, Erick Spong a
    d Sophia Spong.

    Lori was preceded in death by her infant son, Nicholas, and her mothe
    in-law, Beverly J. Boob.

    She graduated from Boiling Springs High School, Boiling Springs, Pa. a
    d Williamsport Area Community College (PA College of Technology) wit
    h a degree in Marketing and Merchandising.

    She was a very active member of St. Benjamin's Lutheran Church, Westmi
    ster.

    For 18 years she was the manager and assistant buyer of the Hickory St
    ick, Westminster. She was instrumental in forming the Dicey Chix Bunc
    o Group with her very close friends.

    A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday July, 28, at St
    . Benjamin's Lutheran Church, 700 Kriders Cemetery Rd., Westminster, M
    d., 21158, with Rev. David Schafer officiating. Interment is private.

    Arrangements are being handled by Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, Westmi
    ster.

    In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Carroll Hospic
    e Dove House, 292 Stoner Ave, Westminster, Md., 21157 or to the Americ

    Margaret Edna Barner Boob, 89, of Vero Beach, Fla., died Dec. 16, 200
    3 at Palm Garden of Vero Beach.
    She was born July 23, 1914 in Rote and had been a resident of Vero Bea
    ch for the past 18 years, having moved from Mill Hall.
    Mrs. Boob was a homemaker and worked many years on the farm owned by h
    er and her husband. She attended the Pairs and Spares Sunday school cl
    ass of the First United Methodist Church of Vero Beach.
    Surviving are her two sons, Robert Boob of Vero Beach and Philip Boo
    b of Montoursville; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
    She was predeceased in death by her husband, Robert L. Boob.
    At the family’s request, contributions may be made to the First Unite
    d Methodist Church Children’s Fund, 1750 20th St., Vero Beach, Fla. 32
    960, in memory of Mrs. Boob.
    There will be no viewing. Services will be held in Mill Hall at a late
    date.
    Arrangements are under the direction of the Cox-Gifford Funeral Home.

    Margaret Edna Barner Boob, 89, of Vero Beach, Fla., died Tuesday, Dec
    . 16, 2003, at Palm Garden of Vero Beach.
    She was born July 23, 1914, in Rote, and had been a resident of Vero B

    Edna May Monk, 83, of Loganton, died May 13, 2001 in the Lock Haven Ho
    spital Extended Care Unit.
    Born June 10, 1917 in Mill Hall, she was the daughter of the late Joh
    Edgar and Helen May Barner Weaver.
    She was married to William A. Monk on Aug. 25, 1934. He preceded her i
    death.
    Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 17, 2001 in the Frederi
    ck B. Welker Funeral Home, 95 E. Main St., Loganton. The Rev. Kay Schw
    ab will officiate. Interment will be in the Trinity United Methodist C
    hurch Cemetery, Greenburr. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 an
    d 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
    Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity United Methodist Chu
    ch, Box 86, Loganton, Pa. 17747.
