    Constance Rae (Karstetter) English, 74, of Lock Haven, died Thursday
    , March 2, at her residence in Virginia.

    Constance was the daughter of the late William Karstetter and Alice (R
    ossman) Karstetter, a retired nurse for the American Red Cross, and se
    ved in that capacity for 22 years before retiring in 2000.

    She was a member of the St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Palmyra
    , Va.

    She was a graduate of Reading Hospital School of Nursing and was an av
    id Penn State football fan.

    She lived in the Lock Haven area for many years and moved to Virgini
    a to be with her daughter after her retirement.

    Constance enjoyed playing bridge and belonged to many local bridge clu
    bs.

    She is survived by three daughters, Jan Allison (Robert) Kierzkowski
    , Lynn Ellen (Robert) Gardella and Jennifer Rae (Eric) Erb; two sons
    , Christopher Evans English and Bruce William English; a sister, Phyll
    is Kimmel; and grandchildren, Kathryn, Melissa, Abigail and Hannah Kie
    zkowski; Rebecca, Rachel and Nicholas Gardella; and Daniel, Patrick a
    d David Erb.

    Memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of Piedmont.

    Burial will be in Lamar at the convenience of the family.

    Alice Regina (Rossman) Karstetter, 96, formerly of Lock Haven, died Ma
    ch 13, 2013 in Cincinnati, OH.

    Preceded in death by beloved husband of 65 years, William K. Karstette
    , she is survived by loving daughters Phyllis Kimmel and Constance En
    glish, eight grandchildren (Jan, Lynn, Jamie, Christopher, Julie, Jenn
    ifer, Bruce and Brooks); and 16 great grandchildren.

    Born in Clintondale to Arthur and Roxy Rossman, she lived most of he
    life in Lock Haven, where she worked for Fidelity National Bank of P
    A and was a longtime member of the former St. John Lutheran Church bef
    ore retiring to Florida. In her later years, she lived for a time nea
    each of her daughters in both Palmyra, Va., and Dublin, OH.
