    Elizabeth R. Barner
    Elizabeth R. Barner, age 88, of 1257 Vine Ave., died Tuesday, July 10,
    2007 at the Gatehouse Hospice, Divine Providence Hospital.
    Born in Nipponese Twp, April 5, 1919, she was the daughter of the
    late Walter and Martha Steppe Eck. Her husband, Harry E. Barner
    predeceased her Aug. 12, 1984.
    Elizabeth was a communicant of the Church of the Annunciation. She
    etired from Wundies in 1984. She especially enjoyed caring and being
    with her family.
    Surviving are her daughter, Shirley (Fred) Schuler and her son, Harry
    “Rudy” Barner both of Williamsport; grandchildren, Michael, Christophe

    and Allen Schuler, Christine Sleboda, Michele Rozenberg, AnnMarie
    Pfirman, Leslie Travis and Aaron and Eric Barner, 17 great grandchildr
    en;
    brothers and sisters, Clarence Eck, Arlene Hurd, and Pauline
    Steinbacher of Jersey Shore, Phillip and Walter Eck and Mary Grandy of
    city, Robert Eck of St. Clair, Mich. and Charlene Surfield of Nisbet.
    She was predeceased by sisters, Kathleen and Bernadine Mar?acco,
    Charlotte Lehman, Helene Blaker and Sister Mary Walter, SCC.
    A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, at 12 p.m. at th
    e
    Church of the Annunciation, Fourth and Walnut streets, with the Rev.
    Charles J. Cummings, Celebrant. Burial will follow in Green Lawn
    Memorial Park, Montgomery.
    The visitation will be Thursday, from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Annunciation
    Parish Center, on Fourth Street, next to the Church.
    The family will provide the flowers and suggests contributions, in
    Elizabeth’s name, to the Gatehouse Hospice Unit, Divine Providence
    Hospital, 1100 Grampian Blvd. Williamsport, PA 17701.
