Evelyn Barner, 82, of Mill Hall, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 20
16, at Hershey Medical Center, Hershey.
Evelyn was born on April 15, 1934, in Flemington, a daughter of the la
te Burnard and Edna Myers Bartley.
On Nov. 18, 1955, in Mill Hall she married Raymond W. (Bill) Barner wh
o preceded her in death on Aug. 19, 2010.
Evelyn was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, David (Stephanie) Barner of Elizabethtown
; and two grandsons, Connor Barner and Zachary Barner. Also survivin
g are four sisters, Alice Croak of Bellefonte, Esther Walters of Flemi
gton, Joann Weaver of Philadelphia and Mary Yocum of Williamsport.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death b
y a brother, Burnard Bartley, Jr.
According to her wishes there will be no services and a private buria
l will be at the convenience of the family.
