Obituary for Carol Reamer

Carol Mae Reamer, 77, of 10 N. 10th St., entered into rest at 8:04 a.m
., Sunday, June 29, 2014, at Rolling Hills Manor, Millmont, where sh
e had been a resident since June 15th. She and her husband lived in Me
itt Island, Florida, for 18 winters.

She was born July 2, 1936, in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Joh
R. and Myra H. (Adams) George. On January 2, 1984, in Merritt Island
, Florida, she married John N. Reamer, who survives.

Carol was a 1954 graduate of Catawissa High School.

She was a member of the Mifflinburg United Methodist Church, where sh
e served on the worship committee and helped with making easter eggs.

Carol enjoyed crocheting, knitting, playing cards, working at the Bloo
msburg Fair, and traveling on bus trips. She and her husband enjoyed c
amping at Hidden Valley Camp Ground, Mifflinburg, for 34 years.

Surviving in addition to her husband of 30 years, are three daughter
s and sons-in-law, Janice M. and Montana Schlegel of Millmont, Louis
e J. and Warren Styers of Mifflinburg, and Dawn E. and Ronald Randle
of Danville; two grandchildren, Jennifer M. Fenstermacher of Cheyenn
e, Wyoming, and Kyle C. Miller of Pittsburgh; two great grandchildren
, Stephen and Samantha Fenstermacher; one great great granddaughter, W
illow J. Fenstermacher; one brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd and Doll
y George of Catawissa; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Joanne and Rob
ert Rupert of Milton, and Janet and Larry Kirkman of Durand, Michigan
; and one brother-in-law, James K. Huff.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Linda B. Huff.

A memorial service to celebrate Carol's life will be conducted at 11 a
.m., Wednesday, at the Mifflinburg United Methodist Church, 279 Marke
t St., Mifflinburg, with Rev. Elizabeth Taylor, officiating.

A time of fellowship with light refreshments with the family will imme
diately follow the service in the church Family Life Center.
