Frederick Thomas Cavanaugh
Services will be Monday for Frederick Thomas Cavanaugh, who died Wednesday in Santa Cruz. He was 89.
Mr. Cavanaugh was born in PA. He had lived in Scotts Valley since 1963.

Mr. Cavanaugh was an Air Force veteran who served in Greenland during World War II. Mr. Cavanaugh was a member of Carpenters Union Local No. 405 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He enjoyed doing genealogy work and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Doris Cavanaugh; daughters Valerie Cabaniss of Prunedale and Sharon Cabaniss-Anderson of Rohnert Park; son Carl Cabaniss of Escondido; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services are at 9 a.m. Monday at Wilsey Cemetery in Wilsey, Kan.

Contributions are preferred to Hospice Caring Project, 6851 Soquel Drive, Aptos, CA 95003.

Arrangements are by Oakwood Memorial Chapel.
