Monica Barner, of Mifflintown, and Tim Haines, of McAlisterville, wer
e married on Oct. 22, 2011, at Good News Lutheran Brethren Church.
The bride is the daughter of Daniel and Carol Barner, of Mifflintown
. The groom is the son of Annette Haines, of McAlisterville.
Lauren Hoover, of Mount Pleasant Mills, was the matron of honor.
The best man was Andy Haines, of McAlisterville, brother of the groom.
Bridesmaids were Alison Adler, of Port Royal; Emily Book, of Mifflinto
wn; Courtney Geibel, of Mifflintown; and Stephanie Kline, of East Wate
ford.
Ushers were Bo Robinson, of Oakland Mills; Justin Frontz, of McAlister
ville; Dan Wagner, of McAlisterville; and Grant Sheaffer, of East Sale
m.
The Rev. Michael Edwards performed the ceremony that also included: Ch
isty Edwards as pianist; Steve Minium as vocalist and guitarist; Robe
t Stong as guitarist; and Dan Barner and Megan Connelly as guest boo
k attendants.
A reception followed at Central Juniata EMS Building.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Juniata High School and a 2009 graduat
e of Susquehanna University. She is employed as a fourth grade teache
at Susquenita Elementary School, Duncannon.
The groom is a 2005 graduate of East Juniata High School and a 2009 gr
aduate of Susquehanna University. He is employed as a financial analys
t at PHEAA, Harrisburg.
Following the wedding, the couple lives in McAlisterville.
