- Services for Marvin Barner, 52, a Niagara Avenue resident, were held today in the Rhoney Funeral Home. Burial was in Acacia Park Cemetery, Pendleton.
Barner was pronounced dead on arrival Tuesday (March 21, 1989) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, after apparently suffering a heart attack in a store at Hills Plaza, Town of Niagara.
Born in Bellefonte, Pa., he moved to Niagara Falls in 1976. He served in the Army from 1959 to 1961, including 18 months in West Germany as a member of the Military Police.
He was a former employee of International Paper Co. He also worked as a carpenter.
His wife, Karen Adams Barner, died in 1980.
Survivors include a sister, Phyllis Favero.
