Annmarie "Ann" Kramer, 49, of West Hanover Twp., passed away on Sunday
, May 15, 2011 at home surrounded by her family and friends after a br
ief and brutal battle with cancer.
Born January 12, 1962 in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the lat
e Melvin Kramer and Eleanor (Barner) Kramer currently of Harrisburg.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 23 years
, Paul Snizek; daughter, Cathy Henderson and husband Brian; three gran
dchildren, Mason, Taylor, and Cole; sister and best friend, Darlene Jo
hnson; brother, John Cirillo.
Ann was a graduate of Central Dauphin High School, Washington & Jeffer
son College and Lebanon Valley School of Nursing. She was recently emp
loyed as a clinical nurse supervisor at the Nye's Road Family Practic
e of the PennState Hershey Medical Center.
She loved training dogs and always had Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. Sh
e was past-president of the Obedience Training Club of Harrisburg, boa
d member and instructor at Dauphin Dog Training, an AKC evaluator fo
Canine Good Citizen, an evaluator for Therapy Dog International, an
d a founding member of Pennswood Therapy Dogs.
Ann was an avid knitter and cross stitcher, she was a veracious reade
always having two to three books going at any one time and was a for
mer reader for the Tri-County Association of the Blind. She loved he
vegetable garden and canning its bounty. She truly loved the Delawar
e seashore and had hoped to retire there someday.
As per her wishes, Ann was cremated. A time of visitation will be hel
d on Thursday evening, May 19th from 6:00 - 8:00PM in the Hoover Funer
al Home & Crematory, Inc., Linglestown.

Her time at home would not have been possible without the many lovin
