lor Neff, 102, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, May 16, 2007, at t
he home of her daughter, Mary and husband Raymond Deigler of R.D. 3, B
ox 132, Vail, Tyrone, Pa. She was born January 17, 1905, in State Coll
ege, a daughter of the late George William and Mary Ann (Snyder) Taylo
. She was married July 23, 1928 to Joseph Fred Neff, who died Novembe
15, 1981. She is survived by sons Fred Hughes Neff and wife Pat of G
eorgetown, Texas; and John Emory Neff and Wife Phyllis of Mason, OH; d
aughters Mary Rebecca Neff Zeigler and husband Raymond of Tyrone; Patr
icia Ann Neff Krape, of Gettysburg; a sister, Edna Louise Taylor Kuehn
er, of Reading; 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, four great-g
eat-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in d
eath by her husband, two sons William Howard Neff, at nine months; an
d James Eudell Neff; two brothers, Edward L. Taylor and Norman D. Tayl
or; and a sister Mary Edith Taylor White. She attended State College H
igh School and then worked for the Telephone Company. Mrs. Neff wa
s a member of the Buffalo Run United Methodist Church and since movin
g to Tyrone, has attended the God's Missionary Church of Alexandria. F
uneral services will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2007, at 11 a.m. at th
e Derman Funeral Home, Inc., Tyrone, with Rev. Raymond R. Zeigler offi
ciating, Interment will follow at Mt. Eagle Cemetery, Curtin, Centre C
o, PA Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday, May 21
, from 6 until 9 p.m., and one hour before the service on Tuesday.

Anna Mae Taylor
Anna Mae Taylor, 102, passed away Wednesday morning, May 16, 2007 at t
he home of daughter, Mary, and son-in-law, Raymond Zeigler of rural Ty
one in Snyder Twp.
Born January 17, 1905 in State College, she was the daughter of the la
te George William Taylor and Mary Ann Snyder Taylor. She attended th
e State College schools.
On July 23, 1928 Anna married Joseph Fred Neff in Bedford. She is surv
ived by sister, Edna Louise Taylor Kuehner Maier of Reading; her daugh
ters, Patricia Ann Neff Krape of Gettysburg and Mary Rebecca Neff Zeig
ler of Tyrone; her sons, Fred Hughes Neff of Georgetown, Texas and Joh
Emery Neff of Cincinnati, OH; 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildr
en, eight great-great-grandchildren, 28 nieces and 31 nephews.
Besides her parents, Anna Mae was preceded in death by her sister, Mar
y Edith Taylor White and brother, Norman Daniel Taylor, both of Stat
e College, and a brother, Edward Loane Taylor of Lock Haven. She is al
so predeceased by sons, William Howard Neff in 1941, James Eudell Nef
f in 1998, and husband, Joe Fred.
The Neffs farmed many years on Fox Hill Road. She was a homemaker. Sh
e lived in Centre County her entire life, except for the last years an
d during World War II when her husband worked at the Baltimore Shipyar
d.
Arrangements are being handled by the Derman Funeral Home in Tyrone. V
isitation will be Monday, May 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial service wil
l be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 22 at the funeral home. Burial wil
l be in Eagle Cemetery in Boggs Twp, Centre County.

She is survived by sons Fred Hughes Neff and wife Pat of Georgetown,
Texas and John Emory Neff and wife Phyllis of Mason, OH; daughters
Mary Rebecca Neff Zeigler and husband Raymond of Tyrone, PA and
Patricia Ann Neff Krape of Gettysburg, PA; a sister Edna Louise Taylor
Kuehner of Reading, PA; 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 4
great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, William Howard

She attended State College High School and then worked for the
Telephone Company.
Mrs. Neff was a member of the Buffalo Run United Methodist Church and
since moving to Tyrone has attended the God's Missionary Church of
Alexandria.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the
Derman Funeral Home, Inc., Tyrone, with Rev. Raymond R. Zeigler
officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Eagle Cemetery, Curtin,
Centre Co, PA
