MIFFLINTOWN -Fleda G. Wilson, 82, of Brookline Village, Mifflintown, d
ied at 9:40 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010, at the Village.

Born on Jan. 15, 1928, in Monroe Twp, Juniata Co, she is a daughter o
f the late Meade S. and Alvesta (Barner) Graybill. Her husband of mor
e than 38 years, James V. Wilson, whom she married on Sept. 6, 1954, p
eceded her in death on Sept. 18, 1992.

Surviving are one daughter, Cheryl Booker and husband Larry, of Miffli
town; one sister, Beverly Sausman and husband Edward, of Mifflintown
; one brother Herbert Graybill, and wife Barbara, of Tulsa, Okla.; on
e sister-in-law, Eleanor Graybill, of Harrisburg; and she leaves behin
d several nieces and nephews.

One brother, Richard Graybill, preceded her in death.

Mrs. Wilson was a member of the Lost Creek Presbyterian Church, McAlis
terville, where she served as an elder and member of the Presbyteria
Women, a past president of the Juniata County Republican Women, an
d was a member of the Congressional Committee, a member of the PA Farm
er's Women's Association, and volunteered for the Juniata Meals on Whe
els.

In earlier life, she was the owner and operator of Fleda's Beauty Shop
, helped her husband on the family farm, and owned Wilson Busing.

Fleda enjoyed taking care of the calves on the farm, knitting, cooking
, and Folk Art painting.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010, fro
m the Lost Creek Presbyterian Church, McAlisterville, with the Rev. Gr
aham Fowler officiating. Interment will follow in the Lost Creek Presb
yterian Cemetery, McAlisterville.

There will be no viewing, however, the family will receive friends fro
m 10 a.m. until the time of service, Tuesday, at the church.

The family will provide all funeral flowers, and kindly ask that memor
ial donations in Mrs. Wilson's memory may be made to Lost Creek Presby
terian Church Memorial Fund, c/o Anna Mae Peoples, P.O. Box 91, McAlis
terville, PA 17049, or to Juniata Meals on Wheels, c/o Diane Marshall
, 311 Washington Ave., Mifflintown, PA 17059.
