He was born in Loganton on Aug. 27, 1904, a son of the late Grant U. a
d Sadie Fiddler Barner. He and Ruth Karstetter were married on Sept
. 16, 1945 in Buffalo, N.Y. His wife preceded him in death.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2001, at Sugar Valley C
hurch of the Brethren-Eastville. The Rev. Kenneth Geisewite will offic
iate. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery. Frie
