Irene M. Barner, 97, of Binghamton, NY, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2023, in Endicott, NY. She was born on June 18, 1926 in Williamsport, PA, . Irene will be deeply missed by her surviving sister Eleanor, two daughters Kathy and Carol, grandchildren Chelcie, Michael, Anthony, Angela, Andrea. And multiple great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond C. Barner, and three brothers.

Irene was a loving, caring, and kind individual who touched the lives of those around her. She had a passion for cooking, baking, reading, praying, and cleaning. Irene's love for reading allowed her to explore different worlds and dive into great murder mystery novels. She loved playing cards and always seemed to win her hand against family in Rummy- adamant she wasn't cheating of course. She found solace in prayer and was dedicated to her faith. Additionally, she took pride in maintaining a clean and organized home, always ensuring that everything was in its proper place.

Irene's legacy lives on through the memories shared by her loved ones. Her warm and nurturing nature will forever be cherished by her family and friends. May she rest in eternal peace.
