ter, Danville, Mahoning Twp, Montour Co, PA. Born in Loganton, PA o
November 18, 1943 he was the son of the late Robert S. and Faye E. (
Wagner) Weaver. He and his wife celebrated their 13th wedding annivers
ary on May 16, 2004. Russ graduated from Sugar Valley High School in 1
961. He was an avid outdoorsman and a charter member of the Sugar Vall
ey Fire Co. #13 Emergency Response Service. He was of the Protestant f
aith. He was employed as a foreman for 39 years at the former Hammermi
ll Paper Co. of Lock Haven and was employed by R.E. Weaver Paving Co
. Besides his wife, he is survived by a son Rusty Weaver of Avis, a da
ughter Cindy Hall, of Lock Haven, and two stepsons Eric Blesh of Logan
ton and Andrew Blesh of Pine Creek; four sisters Grace Courtney of Loc
k Haven, Ruth Naso of Jersey Shore, Shirley Ilgen of Spring Mills an
d Donna Miller of Linden, four brothers, Robert Weaver, Allen Weaver a
d Earl Weaver all of Loganton and Roland Weaver of Mill Hall and fou
grandchildren. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a sister Ir
ene Robb and three brothers Elmer, Harold and Richard Weaver. The fune
al service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. in the Loganton Wes
leyan Church, 4972 Long Run Road, Loganton, with the Rev. Nancy Kuhn
s officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday from 6-9 P.M. in th
e Wayne P. Urbine, Funeral Home, Inc. Main and Water Street, Loganton
, PA. Interment will be held in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Rosecrans. Th
e family will provide the flowers, if desired memorials way be sent t
o the Clinton County S.P.C.A., RD #2 Lock Haven, Clinton Co, PA 17745.
