    Forrest W. Barner, 98, formerly of Fulmer’s Personal Care Home, died o
    June 22, 2008 at the Lock Haven Hospital Extended Care Unit.

    Born March 29, 1910 in Rosecrans, Forrest was a son of the late Boyd C
    . and Fairy Dress Barner.

    Forrest worked as a mechanic for more than 40 years as a loom fixer a
    t Bloomsburg Mills. He had also been a member of the Flemington Fire C
    ompany.

    His wife, the former Margaret Miller, survives in Lock Haven. Other su
    vivors include a daughter, Beverly J. (Randall K.) Packer, Annadale
    , Va.; a son, William R. Barner, Lock Haven; four grandchildren and se
    ven great-grandchildren.

    Preceding him in death are five brothers, Raymond C., Lawrence A., Har
    ison C., Harold E. and Richard C. Barner and three sisters, Dorothy M
    . Bickel, Sylvia M. Barner and an infant sister.

    Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at 1 p.m. at the Ced
    ar Hill Cemetery, #028, Lamar Twp, Clinton Co, PA. with the Rev. Valer
    ie M. Delooze officiating. There will be no public visitation.

    Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, #028.

    Memorial contributions may be made to the Clinton County SPCA, 33 Mil
    l Hill Rd., Lock Haven.

    Raymond W. Barner, 77, of 202 N. Chestnut St., Mill Hall, died Aug. 19
    , 2010 in the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, Mahoning Twp, Montou
    Co, PA.

    Born May 25, 1933 in Mill Hall, Raymond was the son of the late Raymon
    d C. and Edra Stevenson Barner.

    On Nov. 18, 1955, he married the former Evelyn G. Bartley who survive
    s at home.

    Raymond retired June of 1998 from the Maintenance Department of Penn C
    ollege and his previously worked at Piper Aircraft for 28 years.

    He was also a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a forme
    member of American Legion Post 131, Lock Haven.

    In addition to his wife, Raymond is survived by a son David L. (Stepha
    ie) Barner of Elizabethtown; a sister Henrietta Sheets of Mill Hall a
    d two grandchildren.

    Services will be Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the Dean K. Wetz
    ler Jr. Funeral Home, 320 Main Street, Mill Hall. Officiating will b
    e Rev. Valerie M. Delooze.

    Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, #028, Mill Hall. Visitatio
    will be two hours prior to services at the funeral home.

    Henrietta "Sis" F. Sheats, 77, of 200 N. Chestnut St., Mill Hall, pass
    ed away Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013 at her residence.

    She was born in Mill Hall on May 5, 1935, the daughter of the late Ray
    mond and Edra Stevenson Barner.

    On July 13, 1953, she married Donald E. Sheats, who preceded her in de
    ath on July 23, 1991.

    Sis was a 1953 graduate of Mill Hall High School.

    She loved and looked forward to her Friday morning breakfast and groce
    y shopping trips with her daughter, Darla.

    She is survived by her daughter, Darla K. and her loving son-in-law, D
    ale L. Dutton of Mill Hall; and her nieces and nephews.

    A funeral service will be held on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013 at 11 a.m. a
    t the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington. B
    urial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, #028. Friends and family will b
