She was the daughter of Harold F. Ohnmeiss and Irene Bertin Ohnmeiss
. Clara died at the age of 63 years 0 months 8 days. She was the wif
e of Kenneth R. Emert and at the time of her death, he survives her. D
uring a part of her 63 years of life, she had worked as a furniture ma
ker locally and at Weldon's Clothing Company in Williamsport. She wa
s a produce inspector for Mark Stern in Lock Haven, and also was an in
spector for The West Company of Jersey Shore. She resided on Railroa
d Street, Jersey Shore and died on a Friday at Leader Nursing and Reha
bilitation Center in Jersey Shore. She attended the Assembly of God Ch
urch in Antes Fort. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are three s
ons, Ronald Ohnmeiss, Harvey Eisenhower and David Krape, all of Jerse
y Shore; a daughter, Susan Krape, of Jersey Shore; four brothers, Haro
ld F. Ohnmeiss of Angola, New York, James Ohnmeiss of Wichita, Kansas
; Edwin Ohnmeiss of Irwin, New York, and William Ohnmeiss of Derby, Ne
w York; four sisters, Elsie Fink of Cogan Station, Mary Hummer of Jers
ey Shore, Sandra Winters of Cogan Station and Shirley Toner of Renovo
; three half-brothers, Marlin Marshall of Williamsport, Gary Marshal
l of Williamsport, and Donald Marshall of Pennsylvania; one half-siste

Ronald L. Ohnmeiss, 61, formerly of Jersey
Shore, passed away Thursday, Oct. 14,
2010 in Redford, Michigan. He was born
June 5, 1949 in Williamsport, the son of
Clara Ohnmeiss. Ron was the husband of
the former Beverly Lowmiller. He was a
U.S. Marine veteran. Ron attended the Assembly
of God. Surviving besides his wife
Beverly of 36 years are his daughters,
Wendy Guinn of Redford, Mich., and
Gwendy Ohnmeiss of Jersey Shore: three
grandchildren; two stepbrothers, Dave
Krape and Harvey Eisenhower; a stepsister
Susan Edwards all of Jersey Shore. Services
will be held Monday, Oct. 18, 2010 at
11 a.m. at the Rearick-Carpenter Funeral
Home, Ltd. Jersey Shore. Burial will be in
Twin Hills Memorial Park, &031.
