Byron R. Welshans, 54, of Linden passed away Wednesday Oct. 21, 2015 a
t the Williamsport Regional Medical Center.

He was born Aug. 11, 1961 in Jersey Shore, a son of Charles N. and Phy
llis Fulkrod Welshans. He was a laborer his entire life and enjoyed ga
dening and helping others. Byron loved his children, his family and h
ugs.

Byron’s survivors include his children, Kathleen Snavely (Matthew) o
f Renovo, Cassandra Welshans of Avis and Ross Welshans of Avis; thre
e grandchildren, Bentley Keen, Kaylyn Sanders and Bentley Snavely; hi
s siblings, Charles H. Welshans (Candy), Steven L. Welshans, Kay L. He
ggenstaller (Tony), Lori L. Guthrie, John P. Welshans (Allison), Dian
e L. Apker (Charles), Judy A. Sines and Lee E. Welshans (Stephanie).

Bryon’s Life Celebration service will be held for immediate family a
t 11 a.m. Wednesday Oct. 28, 2015 at St. James Lutheran Church, 3242 M
iddle Road, Jersey Shore, Pa. 17740.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church. Arrangeme
ts are being handled by the Rearick Carpenter Funeral Home, Ltd., “
A Life Celebration Home,” 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore.
