Hilera M. Miller, 95, widow of Ferdinand D. Miller, of 3856 Narrows Rd
., Tylersville, passed away on Nov. 12, 2005 after a brief stay at Sus
que-View Home, Lock Haven.
Born in Tylersville Oct. 22, 1910, she was the daughter of the late Ha
y Hoyt and Mae A. (Frantz) Miller.
She was a member of the St. John’s United Church of Christ, Tylersvill
e.
Hilera was a charger member of the Tylersville Community Club.
A homemaker, she enjoyed quilting, gardening, jigsaw pu?les and playin
g cards.
She is survived by a sister Grace, wife of Gene Persun of Loganton an
d many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two sisters
, Freeda Wertz and Genevieve Barner and three brothers, Allen Miller
, Harry Miller and Richard Miller.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2005 at 11 a.m
. in the Wayne P. Urbine Funeral Home, Inc., 95 E. Main St., Loganton
, with her pastor the Rev. Nancy Kuhns officiating. Visitation will b
e held today in the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday fro
m 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be held in Tyl
ersville Union Cemetery, Tylersville.
