McCLURE - Stanford E. Aumiller, 76, of 6957 Old Stage Road, passed awa
y at 3:28 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at the Manor at Penn Village
, Selinsgrove, where he was admitted on March 9.
He was born Jan. 10, 1936, in Beaver Springs, a son of the late Stanfo
d and Almeda (Barner) Aumiller. On Jan. 29, 2000, he married the form
er Linda L. Herman, who survives.
Stanford had been employed as a truck driver with Fulkroad Constructio
, McAlisterville.
He attended Kish Valley Grace Brethren Church, Reedsville, and was a m
ember of the Loyal Order of Moose Middleburg Lodge.
The great joy of Stanford's life were his grandchildren and the famil
y dog, Patch.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by: one daughter, Agnes D. DeL
ong, of Middleburg; three grandchildren, Danielle, James and Nichole D
eLong; two brothers, Dick Aumiller and wife, Nancy, of Milroy, and Ji
m Aumiller and companion, Sherry, of Beaver Springs; and one sister, H
ope Plaster and husband, Dennis, of McClure.
He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Kiesha Marie DeLong, an
d two brothers, Jerry and Donald Aumiller.
Friends and family will be received from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, at th
e Hummel Funeral Home, 574 Hill St., Middleburg. The service will be h
eld at 1 p.m., with Pastor Doug Sabin officiating.
Burial will be in the St. Peters Independent Bible Church Cemetery, Be
avertown.
