    Robert Bruce Kitchen, 92, of South Williamsport, passed away on Tuesda
    y, Feb. 5, 2013, at the Gatehouse Hospice, Williamsport.

    Robert was born on May 23, 2013, at South Williamsport. He was the so
    of the late Beaver and Elizabeth Catherine (Douty) Kitchen.

    He was a member of the South Williamsport Independent Volunteer Fire C
    ompany. He was a life member for the Garret Cochran American Legion Po
    st No. 1 at Williamsport.

    Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served in World War II
    . Robert was employed as a spot welder with the Keystone Friction Hing
    e Company of South Williamsport from which he retired in 1985 after 4
    2 years of service.

    Robert enjoyed going for walks, oil painting, keeping his journal an
    d loved his pets.

    Robert is survived by his wife, Helen J. Kitchen, of South Williamspor
    t; two daughters, Donna (Pete) Zimmerman, of Warrensville, Debra L. (R
    obert) Lambert, of Boalsburg, Harris Twp, Centre Co, PA.; and a son, K
    eith (Jeanette) Kitchen, of Montgomery. He is also survived by seven g
    andchildren and three great-grandchildren and his sister, Bernadine (
    Donald) Baltzer, of Williamsport.

    Funeral services for Robert Bruce Kitchen will be held at 1 p.m. today
    , Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, at the Charles M. Noll Funeral Home, 1 E. Cent
    al Ave., South Williamsport, Pa. Pastor Anthony Crawford will officia
    te.

    Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation at the funeral h
    ome from noon until the time of the service at the funeral home.

    The family kindly declines to receive floral tributes and requests tha
    t contributions in memory of Robert Bruce Kitchen be made, if so desir
    ed, to the Lycoming County SPCA, 2805 Reach Road, Williamsport, PA 177
    01 or the Lycoming County Animal Protection Society, 195 Phillips Par
