    Nancy E. Haffley, 71, died Monday, Sept. 20, 2004 at Manor Care of Yar
    dley.
    Born in Lock Haven, she had resided in Howard until moving to Bucks Co
    unty three years ago.
    She was formerly employed by the Lock Haven Express. She had worked a
    s a waitress in the Milesburg and Snow Shoe areas, at the Penn State B
    ook Store and as a sales clerk for Sears in the children’s departmen
    t at the Nittany Mall.
    Nancy was one of Penn State’s proudest fans and a great people person.
    Mrs. Haffley was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Barner.
    She is survived by her son, Robin Haffley and his wife Ann of Fairles
    s Hills; a granddaughter, Breanne; four brothers, Grover Barner, Clif
    f Barner and his wife Betty, Jimmy Barner and his wife Sandy and Bud B
    arner and his wife Pat; two sisters, Marie Rogers and Pearl Lehman an
    d a sister-in-law, Kay Barner. She is also survived by many nieces an
    d nephews.
    Services and interment will be private under the direction of the Jame
    s O. Bradley Funeral Home Inc., Penndel. The family sincerely request
    s in lieu of flowers contributions in Mrs. Haffley’s memory be made t
    o Sarcoidosis Research Institute, 3475 Central Ave., Memphis, Tenn. 38
    111 or to the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research, 2502 North Clark St
    ., Chicago, Ill. 60614.
