MCCLURE - Jacob Paul Wilt Sr, 73, of 440 Wilt Road, McClure, and forme
ly of Wilmington, DE, died at 12:06 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, 2004, i
the emergency room of Lewistown Hospital.
Born June 19, 1930, in Hollidaysburg, he was the son of the late Lee D
. and Kathryn (Grenoble) Wilt.
His wife, Nancy L. (Davis) Wilt, whom he married on July 20, 1957, sur
vives.
Also surviving are: children, Mrs. Martin (Nancy Wilt) Glynn and Jaco
b Paul Wilt Jr., both Wilminton DE, and Lee P. Wilt and wife, Michelle
, of New Castle, DE; brothers and sisters, Virginia Wilt, McClure, Jer
emiah Wilt, Harrisburg, Dorothy Foulk, McClure, Samuel Wilt, McClure
, Abel Wilt, McClure, Joseph Wilt, Lewistown, Barbara Deamer, Lewistow
, and David Wilt, McClure; grandchildren, Martin J. Glynn Jr. and wif
e, Megan, Shawn M. Glynn, Brandon P. Glynn, Jessica L. Wilt, Jacob A
. Wilt and Brian P. McLaughlin; great-grandchildren, Hunter Marie Glyn
and Kaleb Ryan Glynn.
He was preceded in death by: brothers and sisters, Rebecca Moad, Joh
Wilt, Jethro Wilt, Lee G. Wilt and Betty St. John.
He worked in the paint department of GM Corp. in Wilmington for 30 yea
s, retiring in 1985. He was a member of Lewistown Gospel Church.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Heller-Hoenstin
e Woodlawn Funeral Home, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with Brother Davi
d Wilt officiating. Interment will be in Wilt Cemetery, McClure.
Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
