Dale E. Rogers October 22, 1952 - March 6, 2010 Dale E. Rogers, 57, o
f Richville, OH, passed away unexpectedly March 6, 2010.He was born Oc
t. 22, 1952 in Lock Haven, to Dean & Hester (Ripka) Rogers. He graduat
ed from Lock Haven State University in 1974 with a degree in education
.Dale moved to Richville, OH in 1977.He began as an apprentice machini
st at the Timken Co. in 1979 where he is currently employed.He was a l
ong time member of Faith Lutheran Church in Massillon. He was precede
d in death by his mother, Hester Rogers.Dale was a patient, easy goin
g man, quick to smile and always willing to help anyone.He will be sad
ly missed by family and friends. Dale is survived by his wife Ellen (R
ice) Rogers of 35 years.They have two daughters, Laurel & Troy Schafra
th, of Minerva and Abby Rogers and her fiance, David Rodgers, of Canto
, OH, as well as their two children.In addition, there are his fathe
Dean Rogers, a sister Joyce Rogers both of Pa.; father-in-law, Darre
l Rice; brothers-in-law, Paul & David Rice, all of Stark County; and s
everal nieces and a nephew. A Celebration of Dale's Life will be 11 a.
m. March 9, 2010, at Faith Lutheran Church. Burial will be at East Uni
on Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Monday at the Paquelet Fun
eral Home in Massillon, OH. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent t
o the Memorial Fund at Faith Lutheran, 107 6th St. S. W., Massillon, O
