Beverly loved gardening, was well known for her many beautiful African Violets, most of which she grew from leaf cuttings. She enjoyed feeding the birds and squirrels at her house. One of her deep interests was working with genealogies. Following her retirement, Beverly found tracing her family roots and writing biographies about her ancestors to be a very rewarding hobby. Today, many of her completed family histories can be found on the shelves of both the Bellefonte and Aaronsburg Historical Libraries. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Surviving Ms. Brooks is one sister, Jeanette B.
