Clair A. Barner, age 81 of Kearney, MO passed away Wednesday afternoon
, May 1st, 2019 at Liberty Health and Wellness in Liberty, MO.

Clair was born on March 9th, 1938 the son of Clair Albert and Martha (
Ruhl) Barner in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania. He worked as a carpenter hi
s entire career. He had spent the last 21 years in Missouri, living i
Warrensburg, Lathrop and Kearney. He was a member of the Moose Lodg
e #1494 in Sedalia, MO. Clair loved hunting and fishing. He also enjoy
ed taking things apart, fixing it and putting it back together. Clai
also enjoyed his chosen profession of carpentry.

Mr. Barner was preceded in death by: his parents; brothers: Harold, Ed
, Robert and David; granddaughter, Shannon Gaddis; nephew, Ken Barner
. Survivors include: son, Ronald (Amy) Barner; daughter, Deborah (Rick
) Gaddis; son, Jeff Barner; daughter, Sherry Fetzer; sister, Mary Wats
on; brother, Ward (Shirley) Barner; brother, Samuel (Connie) Barner; g
andson, David (Crissy) Barner; grandson, Greg (Natalie) Barner; grand
son, Ryan Barner; granddaughter, Arielle (Nathan) Wagner; six great- g
andchildren; several nieces, nephews and other extended family member
s also survive.

Private family services will be held. Arrangements under the directio
of Stith Family Funeral Home in Lathrop.
