Obit: On Friday morning, May 20, 1938, Miles O. Bristol was striken with apoplexy. He lingered until afternoon when he passed into the Great Beyond.
Services were conducted at the home on Monday afternoon by Rev. Augustine of the Federated Church of which he was an official member. He was a member of the local lodge of Odd Fellows.
The pallbearers were: Dr. H. F. Bristol, C. V. Bristol, W.H. Chapman, Earl Randall, Fred Hughes, K.D. McKee.
He is survived by his wife, one son, Ralph of Cleveland and one brother Emory of Albion. Miles O. Bristol was the son of Samuel and Sarah Bristol of Girard Twp. He was born in Girard Twp June 22, 1864 and died in East Springfield on May 20, 1938.
