    Floyd I. Barner, 86, of 3519 W. Valley Rd., Tylersville, died Thursday
    , June 28, 2001 in the Jersey Shore Hospital.
    Born Jan. 1, 1915 in Salona, he was the sone of the late Clarence H. a
    d Matilda A. Karchner Barner.
    He married the former Genevieve J. Miller on Oct. 16, 1937 in Tylersvi
    lle, who died March 9, 2001.
    Memorial services will be held at the Helt Hanna Kline Funeral Home, 2
    32 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall, on Monday July 2, 2001 at 7 p.m. with Rev
    . Nancy Kuhns officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral hom
    e Monday from 6 to 7 p.m. Interment will be private at the family’s co
    venience.
    The family suggest memorial contributions may be made to the America
    Cancer Society, Clinton County Unit, 1948 E. Third St., Williamsport
    , PA 17701, or the American Heart Association, 1704 Warren Ave., Willi
    amsport, PA 17701.

    Floyd I. Barner, 86, of Tylersville, died Thursday, June 28, 2001, a
    t Jersey Shore Hospital.

    Born Jan. 1, 1915, in Salona, he was a son of the late Clarence H. an
    d Matilda A. Karchner Barner. On Oct. 16, 1937, in Tylersville, he mar
    ied Genevieve J. Miller, who died March 9, 2001.

    He was a construction worker for Herman D. Wagner of Harrisburg unti
    l his 1974 retirement.

    He was a Navy veteran.

    He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, the Sugar Valle
    y Lions Club, the Southern Clinton County Sportsman's Association an
    d the Sugar Valley Fire Company and Fire Police.

    He coached Little League and was instrumental in beginning Little Leag
    ue in Tylersville. He enjoyed hunting and was an accomplished fly fish
    erman.

    He is survived by three daughters, Joan S. Barner Boone of Tylersville
    , Gladys H. "Hope" Flanigan of Branford, Conn., and Leesa R. Zettle, o
    f Ocala, Fla.; two sons, Douglas H. and Kim H., both of Loganton; a si
    ster, Margaret M. Litz of Lock Haven; a brother, Sherman of Lock Haven
    ; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

    He was preceded in death by a son, Dennis K. Barner, two sisters and f
    our brothers.

    Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, followed by a memoria
    l service at 7 p.m. Monday at the Helt Hanna Kline Funeral Home, 232 H
    ogan Blvd., Mill Hall, with the Rev. Nancy Kuhns officiating.

    Burial will be private, at the family's convenience.

    Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Cli
    ton County Unit, 1948 E. Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701, or the Am

    Gladys Hope (Barner) Flanigan, 76, a former Loganton resident, died Tu
    esday, Jan. 30, 2018 at Branford Hospice, Branford, Conn.

    She was born Sept. 7, 1941 in Lock Haven, a daughter of the late Floy
    d and Genevieve J. (Miller) Barner.

    Surviving are a daughter, Hope Anne Flanigan of East Haven, Conn.; tw
    o brothers, Douglas Barner and Kim Barner both of Loganton; and two si
    sters, Joan Boone of Loganton and Leesa Zettle of Ocala, Fla.

    A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 14 at the H
    elt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall, with Pastor Dan Reed o
    fficiating.

    Friends and relatives will be received from 1:30 to 2 p.m. Saturday a
    t the funeral chapel.

    Private family interment will be at Tylersville Cemetery.

    She was born Sept. 7, 1941, in Lock Haven, a daughter of the late Floy
    d and Genevieve J. (Miller) Barner.

    Gladys was a registered nurse for Arthur Taub, MD, PhD, P.C. in New Ha
    ven, Conn., for 20 years, retiring in 1984.

    She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Tylersville.

    Gladys was a member of the American Nurses Association, American Acade
    my of Physicians Assistants. She was an avid reader, needlework artist
    , doll and Harmony Kingdom collector.

    Surviving are a daughter, Hope Anne Flanigan, of East Haven, Conn.; tw
    o brothers, Douglas Barner and Kim Barner, both of Loganton; and two s
    isters, Joan Boone, of Loganton, and Leesa Zettle, of Ocala, Fla.

    She was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Barner.

    A memorial service is being planned and will be announced by the Hel
    t Funeral Chapel, Mill Hall.

    Interment will be in the family plot at Tylersville Cemetery.

    e the bride of Frank William Fournier, son of Albert and Faye Fournie
    of Croydon, on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008.

    The 2:30 p.m. ceremony was performed at the Wilkinson Memorial Unite
    d Methodist Church.

    The bride was given in marriage by her father, Douglas Barner.

    The bride wore a white satin wedding gown accented with crystal and bl
    ue beading.

    The back was beautifully done in corset style with an elegant bow. Sh
    e wore a crystal tiara and a two-tiered veil that was outlined with li
    ght blue satin ribbon.

    Maid of honor was Sabrina Bernstein. Bridesmaids were Meredith Gartner
    , Leah Gartner and Stephanie Patten.

    Dan Williams was best man. Groomsmen were Albert Fournier IV, Jerry Ga
    tner and Doug Ford.

    The flower girl, Samantha Morgan, also wore a beautiful white dress wi
    th light blue ribbon trim. She carried a basket of petals.

    The ring bearer, Frank William Fournier II, son of Frank and Rachel Fo
    urnier was dressed in a tuxedo.

    A rehearsal dinner was held at the groom's parents' home on the evenin
    g of the rehearsal. The wedding reception was held at Georgine's Resta
    urant.

    The bride is a 1996 graduate of Sugar Valley High School. She also att
    ended Temple University - Ambler and Bucks County Beauty School. She i
    s employed as a beautician at the Hair Cuttery.

    Her husband is a 1997 graduate of Penn College Technical School and i
    s employed as a carpenter.

    The bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Thompson of Rauchtown and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Barner of Loganton. Vanessa is employed by the PA Game Commission and will graduate from Lock Haven University in December. She is a 2011 graduate of Central Mountain High School.

    The groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Geraty of Mill Hall, Billy Lee Walker (Phillis) and Vesta Schack of Flemington and Mr. and Mrs. Bud Poorman of Lamar. Michael, who is employed by PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, is a 2013 Graduate of PA College of Technology and a 2010 graduate of Central Mountain High School.

    Escorted by her father and given away by her parents, the bride wore a strapless A-line gown with beautiful embellishments. She wore a pearl tiara with embellished veil and carried a bouquet of fall colored roses.

    The maid of honor and bridesmaids wore short strapless champagne dresses. The groom and his groomsmen wore black tuxes with mossy oak vests and ties.

    Mariah Barner, sister of the bride, Loganton, served as Maid of Honor. Bridal attendants included Mikaela Heggenstaller, friend of the bride, of Texas and Sara Embick, friend of the bride, of Loganton.

    Adam Weaver friend of the groom, of Flemington, served as Best Man. Groomsmen included Seth Shady friend of the groom, of Loganton and Dyla Geraty, cousin of the groom, of Mill Hall.

    The flower girl was Alexis Clark, niece of the bride and groom. Ring bearers were Joshua Shady, friend of the couple, and Porter Clark, nephew of the bride and groom.

    The couple resides in Loganton and is planning a honeymoon.
