Loretta Elizabeth Quiggle

Loretta Elizabeth Quiggle, 93, formerly of W. Church St., Lock Haven
, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the Edna Tina Wilson Livin
g Center in Rochester, New York.
Born in Lock Haven on August 10, 1921 she was the daughter of the lat
e Harvey and Martha Knepp Lovett.

Loretta was a graduate of Immaculate Conception High School, Lock Have
.

She married Earnest LeRoy Quiggle who preceded her in death on Decembe
21, 1984.

Loretta was employed by the A & P Store, Lock Haven Trust, and First N
ational Bank before becoming the bookkeeper for Fin Fur and Feather un
til her retirement.

She was a member of the Holy Spirit Parish.

Loretta was a member of the Sons of Italy where she was a member of th
e Ladies’ Auxiliary Board as well as a very active member of the Loc
k Haven Moose Auxiliary.

Surviving are three sons: Robert (Linda) of Lancaster, Thomas (Susan
) of Grandville, New York, and Joseph (Rose Smith) Quiggle of Castanea
; a daughter, Linda (Jeff) Mapstone of Rochester, New York; a daughter
-in-law, Martha Quiggle Longmont of Colorado; three sisters: Mary Jan
e Krape of Lock Haven, Ruth Bottorf of Castanea, and Shirley Shady o
f Lock Haven; 12 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and two great
, great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Kennet
h Quiggle; a daughter-in-law, JoAnna Quiggle; a grandson, Keith “Petey
” Quiggle; a brother; and two sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 a
t 12:30 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 310 W. Water St
., Lock Haven, with Rev. Father Joseph Orr officiating. Burial will fo
llow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lock Haven.

Friends and family will be received at the Moriarty Funeral Home, 11
2 E. Church St., Lock Haven, on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Spirit Parish.

Keith Edward Quiggle, 41, of 854 Long Run Road, Mill Hall, died Saturd
ay, June 16, 2012, at Lock Haven Hospital.

He was born on Sept. 8, 1970 in Lock Haven, the son of Joseph L. Quigg
le of Castanea and the late Joanna Earon Quiggle, who preceded him i
death on July 8, 2003.

Keith graduated from Lock Haven High School and Williamsport Area Comm
unity College. He was employed by High Steel of Williamsport where h
e worked as a welder.

He was a member of the Brotherhood of Renovo Motorcycle Club and the S
on's of Italy of Lock Haven, and was a lifetime member of the McElhatt
an Rod & Gun Club.

He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, going camping, hunting, and his dog
, Rider.

In addition to his parents, Keith is survived by a daughter, Chelsey J
. Dershem of Lock Haven; a brother, Rodney L. Quiggle of Mill Hall
; a sister, Maloni Miller of Berea, OH; his paternal grandmother, Lore
tta Quiggle of Rochester, N.Y.; his maternal grandmother, Ruby Earon o
f Lock Haven; and two grandsons, Braylin and Dillan Weaver.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 11 a.m at th
e Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, wit
h Rev. Mark Riley officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial P
ark, Lock Haven.

Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday e
vening from 5 to 8 p.m.
