HELEN J. (KEHRER) KITCHEN, 95, formerly of South Williamsport, died Jan. 22, 2021, at Valley View Rehab & Nursing Center. Born Sept. 9, 1925 in Montoursville, daughter of the late Martin and Jennie Kehrer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, R. Bruce Kitchen; sister Ora Jean Gasser; and brother Charles Kehrer. Surviving are son Keith M. (Jeanette) Kitchen; daughters Debra L. (Bob) Lambert and Donna J. (Pete) Zimmerman, a brother Thomas Kehrer, sisters Margie Snyder and Julia Grove. Burial in Wildwood Cemetery.
MARY ALICE (MATTER) LAMEY, 82, of Lamar passed away January 12, 2021 at the UPMC Medical Center, Lock Haven. Born in Lock Haven November 4, 1938 to Reuben and Grace Brungard Matter. Married Richard Lamey December 6, 1957; he preceded her in death October 13, 2020. Also preceded in death by daughter Sandra Lamey Weaver who passed away on January 23, 2020. She is survived by her sons Richard E. and David S. She is also survived by sisters Mrs. Evelyn Garbrick, Mrs. Dorothy Fisher, Laura Boyd, and Mrs. Barbara Zimmerman, and brothers John, Kenneth, Charles and Robert Matter.
MONA JEANNE (FLANIGAN) BARNER, 89, of Lock Haven, formerly of Howard, passed away Jan. 11, 2021 at the Haven Place in Lock Haven. Born April 19, 1931 in Lock Haven, daughter of the late Christine Flanigan. Raised by her grandparents Charles and Margaret Conklin. Married Robert Allen Barner who preceded her in death on March 4, 2013. Survived by daughters Susan (Randy) Sorgen and Deborah (Robert) Weeder; brother Neil (Louise) Conklin; sister Donna Wooster. Preceded in death by daughter Diane McGinnes. Burial at the Snydertown Cemetery.
ROBERT DANIEL LAMEY, 90, husband of the late Eleanor Jean (Kulp) Lamey of Loganton, passed away at home. Born in Loganton March 18, 1930 son of the late Forrest F. and Hazel T. (Barner) Lamey. On Aug. 6, 1954 he married Eleanor “Jean” (Kulp) who passed away Feb. 19, 2017. Along with his wife and parents he was predeceased by two sisters. He is survived by children Carolyn (Dave) Leigey, Robert (Tammy) Lamey, David (Lisa) Lamey, Lisa (Butts) Smith, Forrest Lamey, Scott Lamey, Candace (James) Matthews and John Lamey, 10 sisters and four brothers. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Loganton.
DANIEL BOYD KERSTETTER, Jr., 73, of Loganton passed away on Dec. 28, 2020. Born June 22, 1947 in Lock Haven, son of the late Daniel B. and B. Eileen (Slegle) Kerstetter. Survived by his siblings Jean (Dan) Courter, Dennis (Arlene) Kerstetter, Larry (Belva) Kerstetter and Diane (Ron) Karstetter. Burial at Tylersville Cemetery.
WILLIAM CLARENCE BRUNGART, 81, husband of Kathaleen (Lamey) Brungart, of Loganton, passed away on Dec. 27, 2020 at UPMC-Susquehanna in Williamsport. Born on Feb. 7, 1939 in Tylersville, Pa., son of the late Kermit and Barbara (Barner) Brungart. Kathaleen and Bill were wed on June 6, 1959. In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons Keith William Brungart (Doris) and Randall Lee Brungart (Cathy). Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Lenora Ann Brungart, a daughter-in-law, Lisa Brungart and a sister, Gloria Brungart Geyer.
HARRY E. BARNER, 91 of East Greenbush, NY, passed on December 25, 2020, in his home. He was predeceased by Elizabeth (married in 1953); and his children, Robert, Marie, and Susan. He is survived by his children, Virginia “Ginger” (Bruce), Stephen, Harry “Bud,” Philip, Paul, and Timothy.
KENNETH PAUL DEPPEN, 36, of Woolrich passed away Dec. 19, 2020 at his home. Born in Myrtle Beach, S.C., the son of Timothy and Judy Dashner of Woolrich and Kenneth Deppen from Myrtle Beach. Survived by his parents; his godmother, Stephanie
Cooper; his siblings Amanda Reynolds, Ryan Moats, Amber Lajoie and Rachael Dashner; and his daughters, Lily and Kenzi Deppen.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his brother Travis Deppen, grandparents Coral and Paul Moats, and Patricia and Stanley Deppen.
TERRY S. BRUNGART, Sr., 84, of Livonia, passed away December 16, 2020 at Mount Nittany Medical Center. Born July 26, 1936 in Rebersburg, son of the late Kenneth and Irene “Stover” Brungart. On July 4, 1959 he married Joanne Douty who passed away in 2014. Terry is survived by children Michele Hughes (Martin), Terry S. Brungart (Mary Kay) and Timothy R. Brungart. Also surviving are sisters, Phyllis Walker, and Leona “Sue” Myers (Barry); brother, Byron Brungart (Jeanne), and Terry’s
special companion, Susan Johnson. Terry was preceded in death by siblings Larry Brungart and Patricia Van Horn. Burial in the Livonia Cemetery
BRUCE A. BARNER, 66, of Aston, PA, died December 8, 2020, at home. Born August 20, 1954, son of the late Harry L. and Emilie
(Moeller) Barner. Survived by sister Karen L. Barner; and brother Wayne L. Barner; daughter Tanya (William) Clemens; son Ryan (Erin) Barner; and his former wife of thirty years and life-time friend, Sheri Ballezzi. Interment in Mount Hope Cemetery, Aston, PA.
